VoiceMail4All is managed by St Mungo's on behalf of Tech4all and is financially supported by various organisations interested in alleviating the problems associated with homelessness.


St Mungo's

We are London’s largest charity for homeless people. We provide over 100 accommodation and support services day in and day out.

We run emergency services - including street outreach and emergency shelter. We support homeless people in their recovery - opening the door to safe housing, health care and work. We help more homeless people into lasting new homes, training and employment than any other charity.

We also prevent homelessness through our complex needs housing and support teams for people at real risk.

By opening our doors, and our support services, we enable thousands of homeless and vulnerable people to change their lives for good every year.

Tech4All

Tech4all is a registered charity established in 1996. Its main aim is the alleviation of poverty through the use of technology.

Tech4all has been the driving force behind the VoiceMail4All Scheme, implementing the initial pilot project with 20 homeless individuals in 1997, and then establishing a second, larger pilot project in conjunction with Voicemail Communications Ltd in 2000. The very positive response to both pilot projects has led Tech4all to secure further funding and to establish a full pan-London service operated by St Mungo’s.

In addition to the VoiceMail4All Scheme, Tech4all is undertaking preliminary work for a study into the use of alternative means of urban transport including hybrid bus/taxis, and moving walkways, to plug the transport gaps that worsen exclusion and add to urban poverty.

Streetsmart

StreetSmart raises thousands for homeless charities in your city every year by adding a voluntary £1 per table to restaurant bills during the winter months. We aim to provide comfort and hope to people who live on the streets near restaurants where others dine in style.

The aim of the Full Employment UK Trust is to promote research into the employment and training needs of persons who are unemployed, unskilled or who are seeking career advancement. We also aim to conduct research into public policies in this field and aim to disseminate the results of such research for the benefit of the public.
